Stepping off the tram in Oslo, we arrive in the area of Frogner, where we are greeted by the grand gates of the Vigeland Park. Imagine one man, hundreds of sculptures, over 200, in bronze, granite and cast iron; it’s the largest sculpture park in the world. How is it possible, you ask? The magic of Gustav Vigeland, one of Norway’s most appreciated sculptors. We’ll share his enchanting story as we move through the park and take in the many sculptures representing the cycle of human life and all its emotions, from The Bridge and The Angry Boy to The Monolith and The Wheel of Life. We promise you won’t be disappointed. The park is jaw-dropping!
